I am losing touch with what I want to succeed.My language is around failure and thoughts of not being good enough or useless are common.It is very hard to get motivated here.It is very difficult to lead myself, let alone a group or team.The heavy weight of past condemnations pulls me down and I continually find evidence that I am not enough or that others or the team are better off without me.The Levels of RevelationStepping In, 60–69Here, you are able to assist as a leader by moving past any fear, limitation or pride.You are ready to ‘have a go’ or move towards an opportunity or new way of doing things.You can have a more positive mindset that is team orientated rather than me/selfish.It can be doing something for the first time.It can be volunteering when no one else will.It can be stepping out of your comfort zone.There may be an unknown or uncertainty about an outcome but that doesn’t deter you.You are learning to orientate yourself in a new way and it has a positive, uplifting effect on yourself and others.You are becoming empowered and growing as a person with each stepping in.You are breaking patterns of pleasing or staying small.Opening, 70–79After you have stepped in, you are ready to open up.Here, you are feeling an inner enthusiasm and drive to become a better version of yourself.To do this, you just know you are to connect more to the unknown.You are ready to open up to new experiences.You begin to have more awareness by witnessing everything rather than reacting to what you think is happening or what you want to happen.Trust can build as you study the meaning of authenticity and what it takes to be truly authentic.Witnessing is observing without judging.Corrections can now be made and true collaboration occurs.Transforming, 80–89Transforming can happen after you have stepped in and opened up.You begin to properly embrace life, especially if you have been able to access your, or your team’s, highest callings or purpose.This can generate intense levels of motivation.You would need to look carefully at how to realize your power and qualities and then how to bring them alive so that you maximize your value to the team.Do you know what your realizing value to the team is?Living at this level will lead you towards real, lasting integrity and becoming an inspiring leader in an ongoing way.Incredible, 90–99At the other end of the spectrum, if you learn to step in and open and transform yourself and others, the level of Incredible Leadership opens up for you.It is a wonderful experience when you feel grateful to be part of a team learning to maximize the potential of the individuals and the collective.Together, you and your team can thrive as dedication drives you.Results are only one part of the dynamics.The heart bursts for other reasons, not just results.We learn to surrender the type of Ego control that caused so much stress.It is replaced by a feeling of being able to achieve the extraordinary.You are like a magnet attracting what is required to you and your team.You are steadfast, compassionate and taking full responsibility for being the best you and your team can be.This responsibility is not a burden, it is a joy.Many leaders may not recognize that they have Limited Awareness, which means they cannot emerge from the depths of lower awareness or advance through to Empowered Awareness.The challenges are significant and it is important to be able to understand your levels if you are to begin the journey towards your higher calling and become an Incredible Leader.Beyond Incredible, 100This is presented as a tile, not a level.Here, you experience the interconnection of all things.Instead of good or bad luck, you have come to realize that you cannot control each and every situation.You will have more involvement and responsibility and, whatever the outcome, you will be an example of persistence, patience, perseverance and goodwill.You sometimes overflow with how the power unleashed at this level can touch the lives of those you have come to be connected to.Each horizontal level isn’t strictly a scale increasing in intensity as you move across the level and a person can move between them according to their issues and beliefs.Is the Code like a ladder?A ladder is strictly linear and one moves from the bottom rung to the top rung in a strictly vertical, sequential manner.The code has both vertical and horizontal movements possible.The code is broken down into two main sections below 60, there are 60 tiles all relating to some kind ofAll of the 60–100 tiles are called Revelations as each one reveals a lot about how to live as more powerful leaders.Some people may find themselves challenged in the levels of Despondent and Lifeless, so need to spend more time moving through Stressed, Wanting and Egotistical to get to the empowerment of Stepping In than someone already operating primarily at Egotistical.The phrase ‘it is about the journey, not the destination’ feels right in talking about moving through the code.Each level has a mental and emotional element that can often manifest itself physically.Each of us will most likely not operate at one level all the time.We operate from multiple tiles and can have several levels operating at any one time.Spend five minutes doing so.Notice any commentary about this that arrives in your awareness.Do you launch into the activity?Do you wish to skip this part and read on?Do you notice your tiredness?Do you notice the beauty that is your life?Your awareness can take you anywhere according to your consciousness level.This simple activity can alert you to where your mind goes and the type of mind you employ.If you are too agitated, try this activity later.For example, you may choose the row Stressed.At what stage in our development should we be before we can enter its code?Is there an aliveness and intelligence inside of you waiting for this code to unlock you?The some, the violin will remain a mystery and give forth a cacophony of sound in response to the person who will not approach it with respect and a keenness to practise.It cannot be made to release a symphony without the player learning what it takes to play the virtuoso with the violin.So, it comes as no surprise that attitude is the key and a person’s awareness creates the attitude that is more we operate from above 60, the less useful the Ego becomes.Your Ego will come up with a multitude of reasons for why above 60, the Code doesn’t work.But you are much more than your Ego or personality.Are you ready to ask yourself the difficult questions?Let’s address the following 10 fundamental points before you even start working on the Leadership code.Be ready to learn about its value and how it will change your life.Are you prepared for a life of integrity?It is important for you to have an understanding of your own psychological patterns, disorders and traits.Let’s create a deep wellness from today onwards that takes into account food/drink intake, exercise, sleep and anything that affects wellbeing.Are you ready to have a daily uplifting practice for the leadership you are looking to find?This is one area almost completely overlooked in preparation for great leadership and leads to burnout and chronic fatigue.Are you ready to receive the techniques that will develop you to recharge, rejuvenate and build a stronger internal energy battery that will provide greater quality and quantity of energy than your current condition?Be ready to change when you read the Code.The Code is designed for you to read, then contemplate.Read, then meditate.Do this daily from now on.Be ready to meditate on the Code even if you don’t know how.Sit with what you have read in silence.You are much more than what you believe yourself to be.Be ready to find out more about you and that which is available, through using the Code to help you.Be ready to learn how to do that and move towards love as a way of life.Ego, Witness and Wisdom.How do we access these deeper minds?Are you ready to learn them and incorporate them so as to find the Revelation tiles 60 to 100?If you are ready in most if not all of those areas, the Code will open and your Wisdom Mind will answer.Ego will create expectations and demands and not choosing the forcefulness of Ego requires patience, perseverance and the qualities associated with the Revelations of 60 to 100 in the code.These qualities are waiting for you to discover and action, they are not in the Code.They are in you and the Code is the technique or key.Also, choose one higher tile or Revelation that stands out for you.Attitude is the key and awareness creates attitude.There are 10 fundamental questions to use to ascertain your readiness.However, for the levels Stepping In through to Incredible, the mildest form is at and the strongest and most powerful expression of the level ends with.So, at level Opening tile Receptive is the beginning of finding your power in this level and by Flowing at 79, a person has mastered the level of Opening.As you explore each of the levels or rows you may be called to explore various tiles that relate specifically to you.That is linear, rational and familiar.Let’s look at this closely.We could start at level 0 Lifeless, but many leaders and potential leaders do not resonate with this so we will begin to unravel the Code by starting at level 3, which every leader can relate to.Instead, most people are able to relate to Wanting as we all started our life using these tiles to varying degrees.We want, desire and crave various things throughout the day so there is the potential for the reader to see how this level works and how the tiles within it may have already been mastered in some areas of life.What happens if a person does not get what he or she wants?A leader, or any one of us, can go to Controlling at level 4 and try to manipulate the environment to ensure the outcome is realized.This is the beginning of integrity and where true leadership begins.As a leader masters staying in Integrity, higher levels of awareness open up.To go any further means a person’s heart is asking for Incredible Leadership at level 9 and the tiles in this level are integrated in a way that deeply inspires those exposed to this level of leadership.Finally, the mastery and amazingness of level 10 Beyond Incredible can be revealed.It is also useful at this point to say that the first three levels Lifeless, Despondent and Stressed have access to little energy, with Lifeless at the lowest.Victim stories are suffering stories.Living in any tile at these levels is to live an unempowered existence accompanied by the feeling of not being able to influence the team in an uplifting and inspiring way.One way a leader can lift himself out of these three levels of victim is to move to the levels of Wanting, Controlling and Egotistical.These levels avoid the state of suffering and promote the perpetrator state of Thinking Mind.If a perpetrator can get the other person to go down into victim mode, usually that perpetrator can get what he wants.Victims, in turn, will look for a situation in their own lives where they can get out of the suffering and feel the pleasure of being the perpetrator.Often in the course of one day, this can happen many times, which is dependent on who we associate with and the tiles from which each person operates.So, let’s go back to the level of Wanting.These beliefs are a part of a person’s story and lock him into that tile.Next to each negative statement there is a corresponding Revelation statement that overrides the negative belief and can help a person move out of the Entrapment.We have also recommended ways to approach the negative trap by offering a tile to study that is 60 or above.Next to this tile recommendation there are also numbers that represent the keys you may like to consider to really let go of the debilitating negative thinking.The code AppWe have created an code App.Search ‘code’ in the App Store.You can use the app for goal setting, journalling and diarizing activities as well as receiving feedback from your team/fellowship.In the App, we have identified 10 Entrapment statements that help users identify what has led to a specific tile.For example, if you are Frustrated, 48 the statement is ‘I don’t like what just happened’, and then you are shown how to be released from the Entrapment.Moving out of an Entrapment and into a Revelation statement can mean doing some deep exploration.There can be a lot of pain and we highly recommend working with a trained therapist if you find the Code brings out difficult feelings.However, just reading about how to move out of the Entrapment can be of great benefit.Feeling for the truth can move you out of an Entrapment by itself.Contemplate the information provided and allow it to inform you.Being with the statements continuously leads to a more empowering tile.What will it take to stay with the positive statements instead of going back to the familiarity of the old story?So, here is the Code.It is the part of the mind that processes through judging some situations as bad and others as good, related to survival.Often it is that part that will not be silent when an attempt to meditate is made.This chatter can sometimes take up to 20 minutes or more to dissipate before a deeper mind can be accessed.In this mind, duality or opposites exist that are in competition with each other.The code shows you how to minimize the use of this mind.It is the realm of integrity.Instead of not listening to or shutting down that part of the duality that is not agreed with, the Witness Mind creates gentle enquiry, spaciousness to respond and avoids a right/wrong perspective.There is an inclusiveness that addresses the wellbeing of others, not just one’s own personal survival.We can separate this mind out more specifically into two parts.Liberating Mind 60–69This is part of the Witness Mind and is the first appearance of Higher Self.It can act upon such realizations and move towards change.The Discerning MindBy constant witnessing this mind understands by reason, connecting the dots, accepting others and a willingness to learn and grow.Wisdom Mind 80 and aboveThis part of the mind emerges as a person solidifies in functioning through the Witness Mind.It is the beginning of Transforming at tile 80 and is the gateway to Unity Mind.It grasps the bigger picture, the higher calling and the hidden meaning to much of what it encounters.A much more embracing and attentive mind, the heart is involved and compassion comes naturally.The Wisdom Mind is even more intuitive than the Witness Mind.Both Witness and Wisdom Minds are empowered.This means that they work through to the 60–99 tiles.Creative, innovative, resolving and advocating are features of how it works.Unity Mind or ‘Oneness Mind’ Beyond Incredible 100This part of the mind is very difficult to describe.What is not working for you?Do you have a vision?See if you are closer to a resolution and to creating or living that leadership.Has anything changed?The code is going to give you multiple ways to resolve identified challenges and design your future.As mentioned earlier, we start here because it is an intrinsic part of the human condition.Leaders who function from the tiles 30–59 are entrapped in the belief system that the end justifies the means.The outcome is the most important factor and any means available to achieve that outcome is justified.They become the perpetrators, using their Thinking Mind to avoid being a victim.Leaders survive by having a want, or a don’t want.‘I want more autonomy.’ ‘I want to be valued.’ ‘I want to make a difference’.Wants generate expectations.Who doesn’t engage in wanting?
