p>Twitch and Mojang have joined forces to provide an integrated streaming experience for indie sensation Minecraft, the companies announced at MineCon? today. According to a press release the players on PC and Mac will soon be in a position to stream their games to their Twitch.tv channels.

p>Matthew DiPietro?, vice president of marketing at Twitch, said in the same press release that Minecraft has "struck an extremely powerful chord" with Twitch users. "Its constantly escalating popularity illustrates that people enjoy watching video games outside of the headline-grabbing eSports titles. If Twitch allows you to broadcast gameplay live, expect a momentous event for both players and spectators.

p>While this announcement is only for PC and Mac users, it's important to note that the Xbox One will be getting its own version of Minecraft and Twitch is integrated into Microsoft's next-gen system. Twitch streaming from a console version is possible. Except, of course a creeper appears and takes everything away. Sssssssss.
