With rapid growth come challenges, naturally and we've talked to Tobias Mollstam, the web developer behind Mincraft.net on the issues.

We've experienced it firsthand, one of the hardest aspects of being a small team is supporting numerous customers. This is exactly the issue Mojang was experiencing on a GRAND scale - in particular their confirmation of license orders emails were being lost:

Before we moved to Postmark we had an in-house machine to send e-mails, pretty much being in the dark as we didn't have all the work involved with ensuring the delivery of e-mails. As the number of users we had so did the number of support tickets for lost receipts for purchases. We knew something had to be done.

It's all about time when you're selling hundreds of copies of your software every hour. https://deepspaceii.com/

Postmark was my favorite feature of the service. It took just 3 minutes to get up and running, and has been chewing away eversince. We even have metrics of how our transactional e-mails are doing. We're back to the future!

Sorry folks, the DeLorean isn't included in your Postmark account, that is only after players use your game to construct scale replicas of the Starship Enterprise.

A big thank you to Tobias for taking the time to talk to us . And congratulations on the ongoing success of Minecraft! We are huge fans of Minecraft and it's an honor to be able improve the experience for their customers.
