p>Minecraft continues to expand its reach on new systems with a European launch for Vita on October 15. 4J Studios, the UK team responsible for porting the sandbox game into North America, tweeted that there isn't an official date yet.

p>Mojang said at the time that it was working with Sony "to enable upgrade from Blu-ray disc Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition Minecraft: Playstation 3 and Vita". We contacted Sony to confirm that players of Minecraft on PS3 Bluray also have access to the Vita edition for free. We're waiting to hear date of release for the Vita retail version. Next week's launch is limited to PSN.
