HOW DO I HAND ON MY BETTA? Here I am going to share a little bit about how to handle their bites well, so that they live for a long time, do not go on a lot of fentile diseases, get good food and get healthy and lively! This information comes from my own experience and many others certainly make a difference. But this has at least worked for me! :) HOW WILL MY BETTA STAY? When you bought your betta, it should have an aquarium to live in. A betta does not need huge swimming areas or well-oxygenated water, nor fish buddies. A betta thrives best. How to get rid of brown algae in fish tank easily But it's not just the reason you should not have so much company with them. It is also difficult to find other species that are compatible with the requirements that a betta requires. Many other fish require colder water and usually more simyta o streamed water. Shells of different kinds have worked well! So they are very easy to handle and tough fish. Betta Splendens is originally from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and also from Malaysia. There they live in "Woody" Rice Field, larger ponds. There is still water that is also hot, up to 30 degrees. Most of the time there are a lot of rainwater and leaf wood etc that have fallen to the bottom, which makes the water quite sour. so a little lower PH value is preferable. around 6.0. But they can also have in neutral PH 7.0. This has meant that the bite developed its own way of absorbing oxygen, as the oxygen content in the water may not be particularly high, evolution has solved a way for the bite to take care of oxygen from the air, their labyrinths. Because of this maze body, the bite does not actually need a pump in its aquarium. I myself do not have a pump for any of my males, but I replace the water more often instead. Once a week will be right. In a larger aquarium where I only have females, I have a pump, but even those who like the water are so comfortable, so I aim the pump aside or have a nylon stocking over the outflow. But the females have easier to swim because they do not have to wear as long fins as the males, so they can handle a little more water flow better. Keep in mind, however, that still is better. So what I've learned from experience, it's easy to get a betta to enjoy!Relaxing aquarium The aquarium does not have to be that big. However, I think that 15liter for permanent accommodation is the smallest. So 15 liters and upwards! They want still water so they can easily build skim and swim properly (those with long fins can have problems with running water and wear out). The bite wants a high temperature on the water between 28-30 degrees, as well as a lot of vegetation. Also, fruit plants when they like to build beneath them and also lie and rest on the leaves in the surface occasionally. What should I have as bone material? Well, most of it works. I myself have switched from gravel to sand, since especially long-fought bites easily relieve fetal diseases. If you have sand, the shit goes up, it's gravel so it becomes easy to dirt and dirt lay down between the gravel grains and it becomes difficult to get up. This can result in the water becoming badly bad even if you are good at making water changes and the fins are easier to infect. So I would say that sand is better than gravel.
